VEGETATIVE PROPAGATION OF COTTON (Gossypium spp.) BY ROOTING
نویسندگان
چکیده
Cotton plant is produced with seeds. However, its genetic structure suitable for vegetative production. In this study, rooting method used to propagate cotton as vegetative. Experiment was conducted in climate chamber at East Mediterranean Transitional Zone Agricultural Research Institute 2020. Stems of Askabat 100 (G. barbadenseL.), Stoneville 468 hirsutumL.) cultivars and their F1hybrid were materials while 2000 ppmIBA (Indole butyric acid) concentration chemical materials. As a result the it determined that genotypes rooted formed shoots different rates. Moreover, more clones than parents, followed by 468. Also, showed superior heterotic effects heterosis heterobeltiosis term investigated properties. This hybrids can be propagation clone using rooting, and these could rootstocks again

Surface plasmon resonance detection of transgenic Cry1Ac cotton ( Gossypium spp.).
The detection and identification of genetically modified (GM) plants are challenging issues that have arisen from the potential negative impacts of extensive cultivation of transgenic plants. The screening process is a long-term focus and needs specific detection strategies. Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) has been used to detect a variety of biomolecules including proteins and nucleic acids du...
متن کاملPolyploidization Altered Gene Functions in Cotton (Gossypium spp.)
Cotton (Gossypium spp.) is an important crop plant that is widely grown to produce both natural textile fibers and cottonseed oil. Cotton fibers, the economically more important product of the cotton plant, are seed trichomes derived from individual cells of the epidermal layer of the seed coat. It has been known for a long time that large numbers of genes determine the development of cotton fi...

Despite rapidly decreasing costs and innovative technologies, sequencing of angiosperm genomes is not yet undertaken lightly. Generating larger amounts of sequence data more quickly does not address the difficulties of sequencing and assembling complex genomes de novo. The cotton (Gossypium spp.) genomes represent a challenging case. To this end, a coalition of cotton genome scientists has deve...
